Excellent article. I was wondering on Sunday if Weber's historic 10th major would make you write. It's curious how last year's US Open win didn't spur as much discussion about Weber's place on the best of all time's list as this win, but I am happy that now everyone seems to be talking about it. Something I feel you didn't include in this article was the USBC Masters, which Weber said that it is the one tournament he absolutely wants to win.
It seems to me that the so called "Grand Slam" is bit underrated, but if Weber wins the USBC Masters along with another major to top Earl Anthony, it would definitely be the decisive argument to put Weber on top of the list, I think.
Also, with the Masters win, he would also complete the "Super Slam". I am actually kinda new to bowling and I don't know much about the fifth major, the "Touring Players Championship" and why it isn't held anymore. Perhaps you could write about this lost major.
Is there somewhere else you write? I enjoy reading your bowling articles a lot.
